Know where the building wants to sit
You do not need a perfect site plan, but it helps to know whether the building will sit near the home, farther out on the property, or in a more visible location where finish and presentation matter more.
Pad readiness is part of the first conversation
If the pad is already in place, say that. If prep is still needed, say that too. A quick note there helps the quote stay grounded and keeps the follow-up more useful.
